Looking Forward

I have not been feeling like blogging much in the last couple of weeks. I have had things to say but neither the inclination or energy to write anything. I am afraid I have not been reading other blogs much either and those I have read I haven't been commenting much so I apologise for my bad behaviour.

But I thought I would let you all know I am still here, my world is not totally centered around my health.

Tomorrow night I have an excuse to get all dressed up as I am going to a Rotary Dinner (that will be interesting my first meal out since this started).

Sunday evening I am meeting up with Golf.
Thursday evening I am seeing Echo
Both Plumber and Forest are around but nothing has been arranged with either of them although Forest does seem to be very keen to see me again when I am ready.

OJ has now finished his A'levels and thinks he has the whole summer to laze around before he goes off to Uni in early Oct. (His mother has other ideas).

DC is finally selling his car on Saturday!! He is furiously making arrangements for his month long trip to USA (3 of them are driving from west coast to East). Before he goes off to Uni late September.

ET is still trying to build his muscles and get fitter for his big adventure with the RAF (we still don't know when).

JA is just being a typical 13 yr old but has come into his own in the school cricket team (5 wickets and 54 runs not out yesterday). We are trying to prepare ourselves for the mass evacuation leaving the two of us alone together.

It is totally understandable that you are not in the mood for blogging, you keep us updated when you want and take great care of yourself and those lovely boys.

Ooo an England Cricketer in the family too eh???? We can hope..xx

Oh--time for dealing in 'nest leaving' stuff.

Life will get interesting..again...

It's a transition, this health stuff--one you're seemingly working through as it evolves. I'm proud for you. I don't think I handle stuff of that nature with as much dignity and grace as I've read here.

But of course--I AM quite the whiner! LOL

Be well--and good luck with that dinner out! You'll do fine, I'm sure.

oh no, your loosing your 'inbuilt' babysitters :( - mine are also leaving the nest.... its strange, so very strange, probably like you having raised/raising 4 boys on me own the bond is even more tight....

But just think what you will save on the grocery bills lol

You know when my eldest left home it allowed Al's and my relationship to deepen, so......
